The world biggest Rooibos tea plant at Rooibos Unlimited in Clanwilliam, South Africa. Once the tea is cut, fermented and dried, it is stored in a dark wharehouse in bags. The bags are purposefully unsorted so that as many different farms are combined into one cup of tea. This random sorting allows the tea to maintain a certain taste from year to year, and batch to batch. In this image a woman randomly tests the tea for quality and consistency. Copyright Jeff Barbee
