Gert and Louise Paulson live with thier daughter Gertrude on the Big Five Rooibos Tea estate near Clanwilliam, in the western cape Mountains of South Africa. Gert raises carrier pigeons to supplement the income he receives from cutting Rooibos tea for the estate. Here he is holding one of the birds for their evening exercise.
