Maria Saaiman, 28 years old has worked for a year just making crafts with a collective. She uses Rooibos tea leaves and recycyled paper to make paper by hand. In this image she is pressing the paper into wire-screen forms. Louise and three other women work in a collective making hand-crafts out of Rooibos Tea that is farmed on the Groenkol Rooibos Tea Estate where they live. They also work sometimes in the fields picking Rooibos when the Tea must be harvested quickly. Thea Englbrecht, the daughter of the owner of the farm helps the ladies run the program and finds markets for the crafts that they create.
